Just my luck, I think my motor is toast! I recently installed a PATS 9" converter. Everything was fine for about 100 miles and probally 12 1/4 mile passes. Well suddenly I noticed a "chirpping" noise. The noise only happens when car is under load. This noise sets of the knock sensor. After looking through everything, I now notice the crank pulley is wobbling. I also have noticed that the fly wheel and converter also have a wobble. WTF!! Now the car has a very lound "SSSHHHHH" sound when in drive. Also the car now will stall at 1500 rpm, then suddenly shoot to the 3200+ where it should.
What happened here! I know I installed the converter correctly (I have done it many times before.) Did the convereter cause this? Is my crank done?
