Crank readings

ok guys what is the norm for crank reading?I know the chilton says 2.4995 my reading run from 1-2.4996 2-2.4987 3-2.4990 4-2.4992 so do I need to grind the crank? Anyone

if the finish is not scored those are good numbers------i'd do a slight polish and consider myself lucky-------those small variations are easily dealt with---------use combinations of standard and +.001 to get things like you want--------you can use half standard and half +.001 to get +.0005..............RC
