I recently replaced the lifters in my 84 GN. The car ran fine before then except for the knock sensor picking up the lifter noise. Now the car cranks but will not start. I have went through all of the following with no luck.

- fuel pump comes on and produces good pressure in the rail
- tested injector connectors 1, 3, 5 with noid light - all good
- tested for spark at #1 plug - good
- tested cam sensor voltage at connector and ECM A/B connector - all within spec
- tested crank sensor voltage at connector and ECM A/B connector - within spec
- tested orange ECM wire at the battery

I have not checked for orange wire voltage at the ECM yet. However, if that checks good am I dealing with a dead ECM? How is the ECM dead if I am still getting injector pulses and spark? Thanks for any help.

Ok guys, I have been doing some additional research and I believe there is some info I need to add. When I test for spark it was there but weak (light orange color not bright blue flame). I had the ignition module tested at auto zone and their tester indicated the module is good. I also checked the coils. Might I be dealing will a bad crank sensor? A crank sensor that is producing a low voltage signal at the ECM. High voltage crank sensor signal at the ECM is barely 5v.
