CRF 200 r 4 ?

hey guys,
I just looked at the tag on my 87 GN trans and it has a CRF code on it? Is this a GN 200R4 ? If not do you know what it might have come out of? thanks for your help ! Steve

you know .. I was just looking at the tag and on the front of it is hand engraved BRF. The back of the tag is yellow and has the crf silkscreened on it. the tag is also stamped and the stampings are on the same side as the engraving. like they ran out of tags and insalled it backwards? the stamping on the bottom is:

May be a CRF trans someone swapped the GN/BRF ValveBody, Gov & Servo into it then flipped the tag and restamped.
CRF probably came in Caprice, Malibu. THM 200-4R Information

The late crf is monte carlo ss non ho 5.0 with 3.08 axle ratio.Ijust aquired 15 brand new valve bodies like this.

Any idea what rpm a stock CRF 2004r shifts at?
