A/R is a term that relates to the "Area to Radius" of the housing. The bigger the number the more air it will flow, however the smaller the quicker it'll spool. VERY over simplified, but that should help. The a/r # is cast into the housing both intake and exhaust side. Aluminum is the intake or compressor side and the cast iron side is the exhaust or hot side of the turbo. Hope this helps. Turbocharger Kindergarten. Now I'm spent.:D

Thanks, I did notice the A/R (60) when I got the turbo off. Here is a pic below guys.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks everyone for the prompt replies and help. I put the stock turbo on and tested in driveway just now. Without any tuning adjustments it made 10psi on the E-Brake very quickly at maybe half throttle! It would have definitely kept going but I got out of it. I am going to take her for a spin after I call Eric from turbotweak for some suggestions or upgrades. Appreciate you guys and for the awesome site. Spent many years in the Mustang community and later bikes. You guys appear to be another great tight knitt community like them as well. Time to be a traitor and go Mustang hunting!
