Anyone running a set? I'm trying to see if the factory brakes can be improved upon without going larger.

Slotting and/or drilling is not going to improve the stopping distance.

That can only be accomplished on stock-sized rotor with better pads.

Slotting will help a bit when the rotors are wet. Drilling just gives you hundreds of spots where the rotor can crack. If want the bling, go for it, but drilling offers no performance advantage.

A guy I know has a Miata that he really has done a good job of making his car handle, when he turns hard I get stuck to the passenger door. After doing many expensive brake modifications he has finally decided to forget bothering with the slotted and drilled rotor stuff. In his crowd its a given that you do that so he is breaking new ground. He has tried with and with out and he says you don't really get anything from it.
