I purchased a 400 for my GN and it comes with a CSI sheild. The orginal owner said that he used a cross member from an 80's Monte Carlo and the trans. and sheild fit with just some slight mods to the fire wall. He said with the stock cross member the sheild would hit the tunnel. Does anyone know what year Monte cross member I should look for (the orginal owner does not have this infromation). I assume that the Monte cross member locates the tail of the trans. slightly lower.
