Crossover pipe/header question

I'm putting on some new (stock) headers today, and my old crossover pipe is slightly egg shaped where it goes to the driver side header. The new header is round, so will this seal up or not? What should I do? Just tighten the crap out of it? Or do I have to replace it? Thanks!

I had a similar situation, but I had a new cross over pipe to my old header that was egg shaped. I took the chance and went ahead and used the gaskets that came with it and tightened the crap out of it and luckily it sealed.
