OK I have stock headers and Postons crossover pipe. Were the crossover and headers connect on the passenger side they are leaking. So I tried to tighten it down some more and it is still leaking.
(My wastegate rod is shortened all the way because I cant get no boost........it is at around 15psi with leak)
Once I got it tightened down all the way I could it was still leaking...........loud a$$ ticking sound.......sux!! My boost went up to 16 psi. A little better so then I tried to tighten it agian and then i took it off and try to seat it better maybe and that didnt work......still leaking
Is there some kind of secret technic that you guys do to get these darn things in without any leaking
IS THERE SUPPOSE TO BE A GASKET IN THERE AT ALL...........i dont have one on either side if so..........all I see is the bottom of the headers with the rounded edges and the flang from the crossover to connect to that.
TIA..............Nick
(dont worry guys when the leak is gone i will turn down the boost, before i go out and give her nuts....
