It was a stage 2 setup, so im sure its fast.......but I only checked it out at the car show....

Thats was from last years at jimmys wasnt?? That cadi sounded nice.. Cool guy too.
The motor is a stage II off center block. 3.59 stroke BMS crank, Carrillo rods, JE pistons. I think it puts the cui around 272 area. GN1 R heads ported, 224/224 Hydraulic roller. GTQ 71 turbo and 200r4 Trans. The car is running on an old school gen6 Accel DFI but he also has the XFI ready to go. It may have been installed already. It has the CTS V rear end and lot of custom work like the IC down pipe, exhaust, the accessory bracket and so on. The car is a beast even though it's not turned up yet. The motor is capable of making 700-800 RWHP with the current setup. He is just waiting for a dyno tune.

Yes, that was a 2003 CTS. This is a 2008 CTS. The old one burned up in a shop fire so he did it again with a 2008 model. The old one was a production 4.1 at the time when it was featured in the magazine. Then at a later stage it did have a stage II in it while it burned in the shop fire. This one is a totally different engine.
