well I decided to build a custom drivers side header. The stock one gets too close to my steering in the Porsche.

This is the mock up.

The steering shaft goes thru the header.

Header is all done. It came out nice but.... The flange warped a little so now I am worried about leaks.

Just get the flange milled until it's true. Then you know it's going to seal and you don't have to worry.

Here is the finished header next to a stock one

And a shot of how the steering shaft goes thru the header.

Fit's good nice work straightshot. Get that flange milled flat.

thanks guys.

I spent a lot of time getting the config to clear the steering shaft. In the end it is very much like the TA headers except the back port is flipped close to the block rather than on the outside.
