Cutting VS rolling fenders?

Without trim. Which is the better of the two in your opinion?

I would never cut, did it one time and tires got f'd would roll the lips this time on you could use a baseball bat in between the tire and lip

You can cut the lip up to the pinch welds/spot welds, not beyond or else the quarter separates from the wheel house, after that, roll the lip flush to the quarter, I used the trim by cutting slits in the flange,then rolling it up to the quarter

Sounds like I will be rolling then. Should I cut relief slots or just roll them?
