Maf sensor kit from gbody parts

Bought a maf kit from gbody parts. My question is it good quality parts? I know the translater is good but how about the lt1 maf?

I bought the translator and LT-1 maf from Full Throttle Speed back in August of 2008 and it has been
working fine ever since.

Yea i looked at full trottle and the lt1 maf looked like plastic. The gbody parts one looks like polished aluminum

I haven't looked at the FTS site in years but the aluminum one is what I have.

hello peoples: Everything iz goin plastic. When I was lookin 4 1 I wanted the alum version but could snot find it so pastic it iz. Who knows maybe it's better with the heat.

I run the aluminum 3.5" LT1 MAF, which is the one that came on the LT1 in the Corvette. The Caprice and Impala had the 3" version. Have mine for years, it works fine with the Translator Plus.

No. I have used both

Doesn't mean anything in a maf.
The 3.5 ls1 runs better than the lt1 all day long.
You can get them anywhere

yes since my factory one works fine untill I broke the ring where the hose mounts. Plastic is brittle over time..

Also I note, if you order from Gbody parts the kit does not come set up correct like they state in the ad. It was set for a extender chip "on' "on" "off" "off" and was set to "0" base and "0" wot. I changed it to the correct TT chip setting and to the 3 on the Base to work with the 3 inch LT1. Just make sure you check it as it was not set as they stated. I have emailed them to ask them to correct the ad. You can find the ad on Ebay also.
