So I am new to posting and haven’t been on in awhile.

Hoping I can get some knowledge toward why this electrical would be unplugged and what is it?

Area;
Engine cabin, d/side near brake booster.

Current mods that might help:
87 GN
Stage 2 chip
Hi flow fuel pump ( original injectors)
Cold air intake
Aftermarket inner cooler

Aside from the obvious, I’m asking because the car starts up hard puffing black and some blue from the pipes and is choppy till it seems to warm up. After such when the car is at peak temp I find that from a stop with normal exceleration the trans shifts way to quick in to highest gear (even when not in OD) causing the car to chug (embarrassing). Additionally during hiway speeds (in OD) the car lags to get up power unless I drop the shifter to D.

Thanks

From the firewall to the fender.

Coolant Fan Delay Relay
Low Speed Fan Relay (ECM Controlled)
High Speed Fan Relay (Not ECM Controlled)

Any thoughts toward the rough start and trans early shift? Or should I post in a different category from this one?

Again, new to this so want to keep etiquette.

Thanks

Keep it unplugged. In fact, there's another 3 cavity connector on the same delay relay. Unplug that as well.

The delay relay is frequently a source of electrical system gremlins and is not needed.
