D5 converter concerns

I haven’t read many complaints about this but … the D5 in my car will build more than 15# of boost on the line with the foot brake. The car leaves real hard and the MPH seems about right.

My concern… is the converter about to break? Or am I just lucky?

how much rpm are you getting out of it against the foot break/?

2850 without the tires turning at all. Before with street tires it would only go to about 2600. But I have adjusted the brakes and have slicks on now. It has always been able to build boost on the line but it seems to build more now.
