Hey guys. My Dad turns 60 this year and we've never really thrown him a decent party or anything. So this year I want to do something really good. Back in 73 he bought an Olds Cutlass brand new. I guess he had it about 2 years and it was stolen out of a mall parking lot that he worked at in NJ. He's had some killer cars in his day but for some reason that's the one that he always talks about wanting back. Why, I dunno, but he liked it  Probably because it was taken from him instead of him deciding to get rid of it.

Anyway I want to try and find one for him and surprise him with it in July. I've been looking on ebay but everything is so far away. I'm in northern NJ. Anybody have a suggestion as to where I can look? Got any good websites I can scour for such an obscure car that nobody ever saved from a junkyard :D

Two years ago at the Englishtown swap meet there was a BEAUTIFUL 74 with swivel buckets for $3,000. I should have jumped on it but simply didn't have the cash.

Any suggestions are VERY appreciated.

I've been watching that one in CT for a few days. It just might be too much of a rat to give as a present. Thanks for looking out! I've got until July. Hopefully something shows up before then.

NICE found a 75 on oldspower.com that looks pretty nice. It's up in Canada though. That could make it a rough deal.

Thanks for the leads guys. Feel free to keep them coming:) I'm somewhat confident now that I can find something idecent under $4,000 n time.
