Who would be interested in putting there car in the show? It is for 2 days
at the Dallas County Convention Center downtown Dallas. Aug. 10th & 11th a
Friday and Saturday. Move in will be Thursday Aug. 9th from 8am to 8pm.
Check out the website at _www.supershowexpo.com_
(Super Show Expo) and let me know your interest. The deadline for entry is July 26th, but
let's not wait till the last minute so we can set up our display and know
what were going to have.
I sent a email to Ron Dillinger, to find out how many cars can be in one
display, we may need two displays? When I get a answer I'll repost.

This is not a club sponsored event you do not have to be a paid club member
to participate if you have a nice Buick/Buick powered vehicle or other
vehicle and want to display with our group you are more than welcome. Just let me
know.
So far 2 cars confirmed.

Response from Ron Dillinger

David,

I would like at least eight nice Buicks. Ten if you have them. If you have some that have been customized, I want those too. Let me know if you have additional questions. I expect it will be a nice show.

I would so enter my car if I was going to have a new spoiler put on by then . . . but the thought of my cracked spoiler on the car with professional judges' criticism would give me nightmares.

None of us are perfect. So they count off a little no big deal. To me it's the thought of getting our cars out there for people to see. How many of these cars do you see everyday? A few if any at all. just to have a hugh display would be cool.
I know your car and I thinks it's fits in just fine. Nice car.
I need new interior in mine and they'll count off for that but the car still looks good. It just means the car is driven and that is what they were made for. :)

I want to say thank you to everyone who came out with there cars. We had a
good time even thought the crowds were small. No pun intended :)

Every club member went home with a very nice award and special congrats to
James Weinman for taking home an extra $250.00 for being one of the top 20
cars!
Also the club earned $250 for having the most cars by one club! Everyone
give yourself a pat on the back you deserve it.

I hope to see everyone next week in Lewisville!
