From a pure strength view point which one is stronger? Is there something better than the 60 or 9"? This is not for a GN so please no the 8.5 is all you need.

i'd go 9", you can swap the center section out quicker and it's easier to set up the gears since you can set the pumpkin on a bench.

Dana is stronger, essentially a truck axle. Also more expensive and harder to set up.

I'm hoping to only do it once. Making power is easy. It's keeping everything else together thats a pita:mad:

if it's going in a 4x4 I used the corp 14 bolt, dime a dozen & strong as an ox, just take the torches out & cut off the excess weight off the bottom, it also helps it slide over the rocks.

The Dana is heavier, but very strong. The 9" is lighter, and its not gonna break either. I think the biggest difference is the 9" "eats" more power than the Dana. I was gonna put a Dana 60 in my Camaro, but I'll stick with the 12 bolt for now. I may have to put a spool in it, we'll see.
