These will work on either the on or off-center blocks but can only be used with cams that have the odd-fire nose on the cam. odd-fire nose is the one where the the distributor gear , fuel pump concentric, etc. is removable.
These do require some machine work on the cam , and installation of 3 tapped holes in the block for installation ( just so you know it is not a bolt-in
piece) Let me know if intrested Thanks Mike
Mike- i just sent the paypal for 1 danny bee retention piece=-my address should be on the paypal receipt-if not: Matt Ardiere , 85 Littlefield Ave , Staten Island , NY 10312.thanks
ED, This plate goes between the block and the cam timing gear and prevents the cam from moving forward or backward more than say .003 or
.004. Eliminates the button on the end of the cam which uses the timing cover to keep the cam pushed back in the block. Mike
Do you have any pix of this plate installed on a block and are there any torrington bearings for the cam to ride against front or rear of the plate?
Thanks
