Dash heat & AC vents

Anyone ever replace the vents in their dash? Having my dash recovered and I'd like to replace the vents.

Are they broken? No need to replace if not. Take them out & clean them up.

There are items out there as well to re-do the chrome border.

A couple of the louvers broke from the vertical bar. They're still there, but won't open and close with the rest of them. And, since I have it out to get recovered, I'd thought I'd try to replace them. Yes, I've seen the chrome beauty faces plates for them. Thanks for the help.

Also, I'm curious, how do these come out? I'd attach jpg, but says "The upload is to big for server to process".
