I was out driving today and the alternator stopped charging.
86 T-Type with Digital Dash.
Now, I did a search and located the "bat light" issue and how to bypass it with a resistor and all of that. Temp fix was to run clip a test light in line to positive. The funny thing is, the "bat" light never came on before and the alternator charged fine. After checking into it more, none of the idiot lights on my dash work except the check engine light (seperate and not on a PCB in the dash), and the brake/powermaster trouble light. I noticed that some time ago, the boost lights and turn signal indicators stopped working.
Is there a likely loose connector that could cause all of this, or is it likely an issue with the PCB in the dash? Fuse maybe?
