Dash panel painting

Well I just recieved my dash panel from GMPARTSDIRECT and its blue not gray. I ordered the gray paint from Kirbans and just wondering what I need to do to prep it...... thanks

I asked the same thing and the gut at the paint supply house said that if it is new , to rub it down with rubbing alcohol

thats what I was thinking too, but didnt know if it needed sanding or primer....

In the future I bought SEM paint (graphite color) and it was a perfect match for my car $8.95 can.

When you spray do not hold can over top dash piece ,drip , drip
guess how I knew that LOL

I got a paper towel and dab it on the drip and sprayed over Whew !
