I want to get a dashboard panel from a supporting vendor of this forum (which are expensive), but I came across this cover on eBay for a good price , brand new. Has anyone used this item? Or should I stay away and just go with my first decision and get one from a supporting vendor? I am not sure how it fits , but it states is made from some flex- plastic material or something. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance....

77.8% seller feedback? Yikes. But the price is right though. I bought one from a vendor here for quite a bit more but haven't put it in yet.

Stay away from that... I live out in L.A. and I'm pretty sure these are the same people who sell some crap fillers for these cars on craigslist around this area. They always have these "going out of business" blowout sales. Plus, at that low a rating i'm sure you would have a hard time getting refunds in case you get a part that doesn't fit. Check ebay for the specific complaints people are making of them and then decide if its worth it to buy from them.

Did some of these cars come without dash speakers? The pic looks like this piece eliminates the speaker grills...

Just my 02 cents worth, stay away. I bought a similar item for my sons monte carlo and was not satisfied at all. I would stick with a reputable vendor.

Definitely stick with one of the new reproductions from GBodyParts or Kirban's (and others). They are exact to originals.
