I recently had my tranny rebuilt by David Husek, I dropped it off at his shop and he was more than happy to talk with me about my build. He tailors each build to each customer so you don't spend money on parts you don't need and he worked with me on the price as he was running a special sale, which was great for me. He was happy to show me some of the nice trick parts he has custom made along with all the Billet parts he has manufactured to his precise high standards instead of buying them from just another tranny shop. After talking with him and seeing his inventory I knew I was in good hands. He did a real nice job and let me tell you he greatly exceeded my expectations. My car feels like a totally different animal and it rocks, it actually lunges forward on each gear change at wot. When cruising around town it shifts like it did from the factory, he even called me a week later to make sure I was happy, come on how many people do that! Very happy thanks Dave !

He was building Dave Poppe's trans in the early 90's. The only person that we knew of that could build one to stand serious HP. Don't know when people like CK came on the scene.
