About a week ago I was driving my car in the rain. The rain channels above my driver door are cracked so it dropped some water directly onto my power door lock switch when I next rolled the window down. Now my power lock doesn't work, the power unlock still works.

My question is: does it sounds like I've shorted out the power door lock switch and is that all I need to replace?
Thanks.

Did you try the other lock switch for full functionality yet?

The passenger side power door lock hasn't worked for two years. But I'm never over there so I haven't been in as big of a hurry to fix that one

Just had this problem in my chevy truck- hit it with wd-40 and presto. good as new. water on the connections messes them up.
