Defrost Switch

If I push the defrost switch, the light comes on but the when I release the switch it goes off. My old car had a good one and I felt a click when I pressed it. Do I need a new switch or a relay?

More than likely you will need a new switch. I had one that i had to press a few time before it would stay engaged.... it worked though after a few presses. Finally got around to replacing it a few years ago and now all is good. HTH

i might need the same fix with a new rear defrost switch - mine does not stay engaged either. where can you buy those?

(also need another wiper washer spray mount, but that is a different thread...)
