Delco ignition module....

Went in Advance Auto to check on an ignition module. They have the cheapo modules in stock, but they can get the Delco units next day, it was like $180. Just thought I would pass this along in case anyone needs one quick like me.

Auto zone has Wells and I'm Thinking that Delco makes them or bought them out and they are $36.00 for the coil pack and $100.00 for the module and Life time guarantee on the module can't beat that.I'm just not sure how well they work.I just know for a quick fix I would try one..

I'd rather pay a little extra and wait a day to get the Delco, i've heard the Wells dont perform very well.

definately wait a day for the delco, unless you want to come back the next day and get another wells......

Wells do not work.......Only way to tell is with Caspers tester. I see it almost everyday......... Forget cheap and get AC Delco. Find the best price on the good stuff.

i only buy ac delco electronic parts, never aftermarekt, they're too flaky....

The vin *C*, 87-88, FWD cars use the same one, and typically go for $50. For $50, it's worth carrying a spare, IMO.
