Denatured vs. Methanol. Does anyone know if one is better than the other?

Has anyone ran on denatured and then ran on methanol with the same setup? Was there a difference?

Methanol=no odor, and a slight seat of the pants difference. Pumps used must be fully compatible, else it will tear them up.

Also way way cheaper

A slight seat of the pants difference. Would you say .2 worth? I have never been able to tell .1 but .2 of a sec, you can tell.

It appeared that methanol allowed an extra 1-2 psi before KR would start setting in, this additional boost would equal the .1-.2 easy.. but only at the expense of running higher boost.

So i'll say it like this, lets say your car runs 24 PSI on denatured, swapping out to methanol at 24 PSI wont gain anything.. upping the boost..ahhhh.. that will.

To be honest, I run it becuase its cheap, my local Home Depot hits me for 9.99 a gallon for denatured + tax . I buy my methanol for 2.50 a gallon ... no tax So for the price of 1 gallon denatured, I can almost get my 5 gallon container filled. Probably why I havent done the back to back tests..
