I dunno about a parts car, but a parts motor would be great. I see complete motors all the time. You don't really care about the long block, so it doesn't matter if it runs. If you want an ECM, then get a 83 motor. If no ECM, than a 1980 would be best, otherwise a 1979. Avoid the 1978 due to the low port manifolds.
I'm still debating going turbo on my 87. the power sucks but I'm liking the gas mileage! Only used an 1/8 tank of gas probably put about 60 miles on it. THat's with 9 month old gas and plugs outta spec and god knows what else If you can find someone parting out the COMPLETE set up u want for what u wanna pay, go for it, I proabably would:biggrin: . But then I already have a turbo car
