If you have been following my other thread entitled "detonation help"--I think I found the problem. I took off and looked at the ign. module and it looked fine. So I changed the pack with my spare and it didn't seem to help.
I added some Xylene just to see what would happen. The detonation went away. I still heard it once or twice, but couldn't say for sure.
I just got the new Denso O2 sensor in yesterday afternoon and haven't had any daylight to install, but hopefully that will help too.
I still don't understand why the car is now detonating with 93 octane @ 15psi. It never did that before. I have gone through two tanks of gas--so I don't think I just got a bad few gallons. What would make a car do that?
I don't know. I will do some more tuning, since I don't have to go to work until Monday, and post some more info.
I guess maybe it is just time to upgrade intercoolers.
