Hello,
I just got a new dew sweep for my passenger side door and I have no experience in installing one of these. Are there any special tools required? Should I just take it to a body shop and have them put it on? How much am I looking at paying if I go that route? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chad:)

Very easy.. take door panel off, take door glass out.. remove the old screws or rivots from the factory sweep and put your new one on. Took me about 1 hour to do both sweeps on my car. Good luck!

Basic hand tools will work.

You dont need to remove the glass to change them. After you get the interior trim off all you need to do is lower the bottom glass stop. This will let the glass go down another 1/2" or so and you can get to all of the Phillips head trim screws that hold it on. Just put the stop back to where it was and you're ready to go.

True. but I take them out.. just takes a few more minutes..
