I need a recommendation for a good chassis shop that can weld on my subframe connectors for the TTA. I'm also going to have the THDP sectioned to fit the subframes and the wideband bung welded on.

Also, does anyone know of a place that I can get the AC serviced and get an inspection sticker without a converter? in other words, does yall know anyone who "help me out"? ;) I know everyone out there is not running a converter. :)

thanks.

Ok thanks. I am taking off work all next week to get some stuff done on the TTA. Subframes, and the Gen2 Translator with the wideband. Hopefully I will see everyone next sat night at Chucks.

have you installed your Gen 2 yet?

No I haven't. I want to have it on and tuned before the Brand-X bash at the end of Sept, I keep trying to find someone that has installed it with alky with the WB AFR tracking to see how quickly it responds and cuts fuel if not using a second set of fueling parms with a trigger, but no one ever replies so I guess no one is using it with alky. I found a post on Full Throttles forum where a guy did it, but he never responded back to indicate if he used a trigger or not to use a different set of fueling parms when the alky kicks on.
I put a post in the alky section last night to see if anyone there has used it, might watch it and see if anyone responds.

If I make to the show on Saturday, you can ride in my car and we can take some data. I am kind of curious also as to how fast it will react. Maybe there is someway to get it to track to a differnet AFR when the alky kicks in. it will be interesting to see. Plan to install the Gen 2 tomorrow and maybe the wideband if I can get the bung welded on. I will keep you updated.

According to Bob Bailey, he said if you keep the adjustment rate pretty large, it will keep track fairly well. You can wire in a trigger wire from the alky system and when the trigger wire goes hot, it can use a different set of programmed AFR tables to run leaner. I'm hoping to not use the trigger wire, that way if the alky line gets clogged or the pump goes out, I will still have a good supply of regular fuel that will be there when it starts to read lean....maybe buy me a few seconds if its 93 octance and 24# of boost and not more than 20* of timing to keep things from blowing up.
Thanks for the offer, but I will not be able to make Chucks this Sat.
