Heh! Heh! You obviously missed the recent episode where they chopped the crap out of a very nice, one-owner, big-block 1973 Corvette & turned it into a 4x4 mud racer. They removed the center console with a hammer... :o

SWEET!!! TOO BAD I DONT HAVE CABLE:( LOVE TO SEE THOSE NICE RARE ONES TORN TO SHREDS;) IMO, THE BEST WOULD BE TO SEE A ZL1 VETTE ( http://www.corvettes-musclecars.com/Corvette/69ZL1/) TURNED INTO SOMETHING USEFUL LIKE A AMPHIBIOUS, S2000 POWERED BOAT CAR WITH THAT POS 427 BEING USED FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE.....AN ANCHOR!!!

Just watched Jesse destroy a very nice '71 El Camino SS. Walked up to the car at a swap meet, paid the seller $8,500 for it, took it to the shop and destroyed it! I think he could've found something not as rare to ruin. Oh yea, claimed it was a factory big block car, too.

SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD THING TO DO TO A CHEVY FROM MY PERSPECTIVE. :p

I dont know if any of you have seen it, but theres this show on FX called driveshaft.
They take people who have cars they want to get rid of, and make them into some sort of machine to win a new car.
Well, neat premise, sort of. But the last 3 shows I watched, they had 6 cars... and 4 of em were Buicks. Another was an early Ford Thunderbird (I think).
What really got to me was that some chick had a 68 Riviera, and she put that into the contest. The first thing they did was take a sledgehammer to the windows, the dash, rip out the seats, and generally trash the car.
I was so ticked off, i grabbed the glass bottle i was drinking out of and chucked it across the room.
How people can destroy cars like that is beyond me. If it was a lost cause, thats one thing. But to take your classic and demolish it just because you felt like it makes me sick!
So what if Jesse can build stuff. Fine, build stuff, dont destroy stuff. Take that talent and create something.

man o man i saw a super rare car here in florida once. it cost a million bucks in 1930! it is a one off car privately owned. id love to smash it!!!

haha howd you get your post in before mine when mine showed up first??? ahha NOS

so you into destroying rare stuff too?

lol

lol, as a matter of fact yes I am! ha ha. It's a good feeling, especially because it makes some people cringe. hee hee.

oh ya thats nothing. i regularly restore old Buicks to pristine condition then blow them up at the GS nats in front of all the Buick lovers

im not going to hold anything back, i think both shows suck incredibly and are very boring to watch, i rather see a bunch of guys build a drag car then chop up a very nice el camino for the fun of it, i think hes showing off how much money he has to just throw away. i cant gather thaughts right right now im pretty much pissed off!

Yeah, I think this show jumped the shark a long time ago.

It's just plain weak now.

I know the location (in florida) of one of the only 2 Ferarris (some specific model) in the world. It was the car from a disney movie (i believe Driving Ms. Daisy), and Ferarri only made two of them. One is in the lake at Disney Land, and the other one is at a shop (starting being restored as of this week). Heh.
