I have one in my car that doesn't fit my pass. rear tire. It is one of those little half-tires.

Didn't find this out till I had the tire off

So I had to fix-a-flat it......

My we4 and my v8 limited both hav the donut spare, but my buddy had a v8 limited that had a fullsize spare, I always wanted to put it in my car to see if it would fit in the cutout of the trunkpan.

Thanks. I am now puzzled as to why it doesn't fit.... oh well tire is fixed... :)

Are you saying the donut tire(tire and rim) don't fit on your car?

Is the bolt pattern wrong?

Scott

Completely wrong. The bolts are much further apart on the car compared to the tire. It isn't even close. I tried the spare out of my dad's 91 lesabre and the bolt pattern is correct but the tire doesn't fit over the drum housing.

Our stock bolt pattern is 5x 4 3/4. I could be wrong but I think the fullsize cars are 5x5. So you must have aftermarket wheels and brake drums with 5x5 bolt pattern on the car correct?

Are the front and rear the same bolt pattern?

You will just have to get a 5x5 spare and all will be good.

No I have stock rims and wheels. So I think the spare tire is the wrong one. My drums have quite a bit of rust so I assume they are stock as well....

the spare is not that much smaller. Its actually a 16" rim.. What the factory supplies..

Mine was missing when I bought my car, but here's what I found. A compact spare out of an F-body or S-10 will work just fine.

The Turbo Regals came with a full height spare, but a temporary one. Especially with Posi, you will want one the same height as your rear tires. The reason your LeSabre wheel doesn't fit is because it is FWD. They have a different offset. You can use the one from the F-body, but only use it for a real short distance, because it is so short.

I'll have several correct factory spare tires at the GS Nationals for sale at my vendor spot.

no such option on a turbo regal..
