TA Performance......

I don't think they had a running motor with the aluminum block and/or heads, however, Nick Micale was there with a block and heads to show off in the vendor area from what I heard....

FYI, I did a search and found that Nick had only planned to have a finished fully machined TA block at the BG Nats and he also said that because a couple of CNC machines were being relocated that delayed the finish work by about 2 weeks..... I can't wait to see the results when they have a motor built with either the block and/or the heads!:)

Gotta save those pennies:D ;)

Jason had a fully machined block, and head on display.

The block looked to be closer to Art Work then an engine. Best fit and finish that I've seen in years. No visible core shift. All the machined sports looked to be located with in the casting bulges for them, etc.. Plenty of meat up in the main web areas.

Without twisting one up to the point of seeing what destruction can be done, hard to see any spots needing improvment.

Amazing seeing someone put the time and effort into a project like this for these ol cars.....

Very true and for that TA Performance as well as Nick Micale and anybody else involved with the block and heads project gets much respect from me!:)

The block that was on display at the RJC booth was an on-center block going in a twin-turbo car very soon...met the guy that it has been promised to...a friend of Joe Harrington.

The 1 TA head at BG was the "street" version, one of the Competition Intimidator models. There were no "race" Competition Eliminator heads on display.

Tom & Jason Cramer were very gracious to display the 2 TA items at BG. :)
