I'm sure someone can tell me what the difference in physical appearance between the ARP 6 pt. and a TTY bolt.

The reason I ask is I had someone put the heads on for me last time with ARP bolts. I took them off today myself and I have 15 bolts that are of the same manufacturer(4 long and 11 short that have a washer head that a 9/16" socket fits which I am assuming are my ARP's).
And I have one that is shorter than the other short ones without a washer head that a 5/8" socket fits(clearly of a different manufacturer). In the center of this bolt has a symbol that looks like this-- (ll)
So, did I have 15 ARP's and 1 TTY holding my heads on?

Thanks,
Ed

ARP headbolts say ARP on te top of the head. the 170,000 psi Arp bolts are 6 point and the 190,000 psi arp's are 12 point...

The ones that are supposed to be the long ARP's have a C stamped on them and the short ones have SPS stamped on them.

They were in ARP packaging when I got them but maybe someone pulled the old switcheroo on me.

So, is the odd bolt just odd or could it be a TTY bolt that was reused  ?

none of your bolts are ARP. ive seen the sps bolts on rebuilt motors before.
