Difference in PACE CAR door decals?

I just noticed there are 2 different PACE CAR door decals, and since alot of TTAs don't have the dorr decals on, which one is actually correct or why are there different ones?
Notice how the bottom line of the text is different in these 2. And the "R" in the first line is different too.

Me neither. Top one is what the GM OEM looks like. There's a number of $30 door decals on e-bay so that might be the bottom one??

The bottom pic is of my TTA, and I bought those decals on ebay from the guy that sells the set for $29.99. I wanted to keep my originals in the box.

I like the top ones much better!

Yes, that was from your ad. I had to do a double take on the door decals as I have seen very few installed on the cars since most want to keep the originals in the kit. So I was wondering if maybe it was a Festival Car thing. The one's on top are the one's on mine, I bought them from John's Performance - Your Turbo Trans Am and Grand National Specialists for $50. I also have the originals all sealed up in a cardboard package and didn't want to cut them open to see if they were different.

If I had known that they were selling them for $50, I would have bought them instead. They are much better looking!

i guess the ebay guy didn't do an exact copy...

Top one is correct bottom is wrong. Why someone would reproduce something and not make it a perfect reproduction is beyond me.

My 5K mile festival car, that still has the decals on it from Indy in 89 has the top set of decals on it.

There are quite a few differences, the 9 in 1989 is different also, the leter a looks different

I have some of the $50 John's Performance door decals and they match my factory decals perfectly. They are the only way to go!
