I'm not one to cry over spilled milk, they're old car parts, and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't affect my life for better or worse.
I guess as a new member of the boards I was expecting more out of the Turbo Buick guys than other hobbies and forums I'm involved in.
The lesson for me is that its never a done deal until you're driving away with your new found loot, and Buick guys can be just as flakey as a craigslist ad! ;)
Had I not received payment address I could understand, or if it had even been 24 hours without reply I could understand, or if I was told he needed payment faster I could understand.
I was only told it was a no-go after I called on the phone to try and purchase more parts! Thats life, I'll quit my rant and get back to making money instead of spending it...

So who bought it if you nor Ralph got it ?

I did not want it after finding that the display was out ...

Bryan

I'm not interested once the seller couldn't honor his original sale. Phoneguy didn't want it with the burnt out display. That puts Ralph up to the front of the line either way!
I would have gladly paid more had I even been asked or given the chance (If it came down to $$) if the seller thought his initial price was too low or wanted additional shipping.
I was just guessing it was Ralph who purchased the lot, since he jumped in there with the paypal ready and shortly thereafter I was told to hold payment.
The funny thing is I'm not really upset about losing parts, I am being a smartass, and reminded that Buick guys are no different than any other group of people I've mixed with!
Boost on and safe travels everyone! I'll try and catch the next one...

Sorry for hurt fillings T B community is top notch. If asking questions about parts for sale holds a line my mistake. I did not buy it or was PM by seller or pm him.

No hurt feelings, just had higher expectations of fellow Buick owners than reality dictates, I know better.

Lol, I thought the line was held once I received payment information and the go ahead. Asking questions certainly does not put you at the front of the line. Saying that you are interested and will purchase it does in my book. Either way, it was a lose lose situation for me, offer more money I look like a jerk, comment on it I look like a jerk, fly off the handle yelling at the seller over some car parts, still look like a jerk! :)

Did he tell you that it was sold ?

No comments recently by him

Bryan

No, the word "SOLD" was never used. I could have got more aggressive trying to make the purchase, I just didn't know I was being knocked out of the sale and was blissfully at work. I called when I got home to find out if he had more parts I could purchase. He was immediately up front about another buyer jumping in.

Its OK, I did try to delete most of my bantering on this post but it wouldn't allow me to or I'm not keen enough to figure it out.
It fell through for me this time, tough luck, and I still hope it works out for everyone else. Its not worth it to stress over a broken digital dash!!

Sold and who cares to whom it was sold to people pm me way before all three of u guys.

Communication goes a long way here. Note to self ...

Hell, I didn't know there was a difference between wall posts and conversations until I couldn't find one I was looking for! I would have PM'ed quickly if I knew that was the hot ticket... Nobody cares, life goes on!
