Direct Scan Help needed..

I just bought one of theses.. Are there some pointers or shortcuts to learning about this. I have figured a out how to set an save the preferences. Inthe 38 pagesof directions I have I keep seeingthe word "buffer" . what is this an what does it do..?? I do ot condider myself the village idiot after all I did get far enough to type this!!!

From what I've learned, the buffer is the information that is being recorded(from your run/driving), you then would go go the File Menu, save the buffer with whatever name you give it for later playback...To play it back, you go back to the file menu, load the file and go to Buffer Redisplay to view the run...

That is correct.

The "Buffer" is what is recorded.
