Direct Scan/MaxEffort 16 pos. tuning?

I have been runnig basic Jay Carter chips in the past and have had tons of trouble tuning this car. Funds are low, but i wanted to know your thoughts on going to a MaxEffort 16 pos. chip and Direct scan for tuning. How well would this work with my combo and a larger turbo like my 70? I am still using the MSD 50's as well. Any problem there? Thanks for opinions.

I liked my ME 16 with 55's. Easy to tune...click the thumbwheel down to whatever EGT you want to run. Most of the default settings are fine. May have to adjust spool up fuel curve a little depending on the car....Can't beat it for the money. Plenty of guys going fast with the ME...Steve has the mafless version out now so you should consider that. Email Steve he'll shoot straight with you. Good service to boot! maxfrt1@usol.com
