First time going, staying at the holiday inn. I live off of I57. whats the best route there and once in town where is the drag strip. Leaving early friday. thanks.

www.mapquest.com

I usually cut over to 41 at Vincennes and take that south around Eville, then.....I need to check my map for the remainder of the trip:D

On mapquest, search for Beech Bend Raceway and it will give you a map. It's on the NE corner of BG. Once you're down there, they'll be plenty of Buick people to follow to the track:cool:

Bring lots of change for the toll booths in Kentucky and make sure you drag race your buddies from each booth. A few years ago they added a bypass around Evansville. It will save you a lot of traffic.

quickest, but not shortest would be
I-57 south about 15 miles to
hwy 45-52 south, stay on 52 for 35 miles,
turn left(east on 24).

south on I-65. for a little over 300 miles to bowling green.

I can't recall any toll booths in Kentucky and I've lived here all my life.
Find your way to I-65 south. when you get to Bowling Green take 31W west. Follow the signs. Beach Bend Park. Welcome Ya'll

Follow the Buicks!

I live near Mt.Vernon Il.on I57.I don't know but for me the best way is to get on I64 at Mt.Vernon and take it to I164 (Evansville by pass)then hit 41 south to the Audubon parkway untill you get to Owensboro then get on the William Natcher parkway and it will take you to Bowling Green.

I used to live in Peoria (Bradley and worked there for a few years). I would take 74 over to B/N and then whatever that road is to Champaign and then to Indy. Get on 65 and go south. It is a long haul so leave EARLY friday if you want to catch any action.

I assume that Louisville will have its usual traffic due to construction. I always love pullling my trailer through that @ 60 when its like 3" wider than your trailer.

Tim, i sent a email to your yahoo mail. The other email address keeps sending it back to me.
