DLS BA Cranks Seal Knurling ??

Wonder why Weber's are knurled. ???

Turbofab ...i have a great amount of respect for your knowledge and without people like you on this forum we would be up S.... CREEK ..But why are there knurling lines on many rear main seals on american cars...(I am generalizing),dont many of the stage blocks use a BBC SEAL (KNURLED)

Bob, Iv'e come to one conclusion about this issue as Iv'e had many pm's and even phone calls about this and it's almost 100% that guys with non knurled cranks for stock stroke or strokers in the 109 have rear main seal leaks. I also don't believe that it's cap or seal misalingment with all who have leakers. And as I posted above, WHY are Webers knurled??
