Do I need injectors?

Guys...as some of you know, I am porting my stock heads and intake. I have upgraded to a TA33 turbo. I've still got the stock (cleaned / flow tested) injectors - just installed 3 mos ago.

I don't know too much about injectors - other then I gotta get a new chip programmed for them if I change 'um and...oh ya..they squirt fuel.

While i've got the intake off....do I need to upgrade my injectors ????

If so...what injectors and why aren't the stockers good enuf ?????

the only reason i'd think about changing them now is because you have everything taken apart and it'll be easy.if you decide you need to upgrade later you have to take a bunch of stuff back off to get at the fuel rail.

that said,i don't think i'd bother.the cleaned/flowed stockers will have enough fuel for mid/low 12's.i'd spend the $$ somewhere else.

Change them while you have it all apart.....I put on a TA-33C with stock injectors, and the car knocked due to lack of fuel.

A set of 36lb "Blue Tops" are all these Hot-Airs need.

You upgrade your fuel pump, this is really necessary too. I think if you want to make sure you have enough fuel do the injectors now. And Herb is correct the 36 # are a good upgrade. Just another two cents, you did ask... LOL
