I just got the new headliner in and I am wondering if I need to get some new clips also. Have you guys had good luck with using the old ones? Thanks Guys

You didn't mention what type of headliner you have, but when I replaced my T-Top headliner I manage not to break any of the headliner clips.
When in doubt get some extra just in case some might break.

If you purchase an ABS head liner you do not have to remove the clips. They can slide back in under the front & rear retainers. They will flex enough so you can slide these in.

Or if you do it like my upholstery guy has done it for years, just remove/scrape off the old one and glue a new one in place. The edges can then be tucked under the trim pieces. He does the R and R in about an hour, 2 of them last month! :D

When doing a race car headliner, the only other option is to remove the rear window glass to slide out the board, but then trim must be removed.

Nice thing about an ABS you don't have to remove the glass. Just slide it between the wind shield & the cage & it rolls on up there ;)
