If he didn't supply you w/ pics, you can bet that the UPS folks also got nothing.
That alone, would shoot his claim down. Likely, why he's now after your PP acct.

Wow.

Did you forget to mention that I offered to split the claim 50/50 because I gave you a benefit of a doubt that UPS ruined it, not you?

Did you forget to mention that I told you right away I don't work in that shop, nor do I live near by as SOON as you shipped it?

Did you forget to mention that you sent me a wrong license plate bracket, rear instead of FRONT as YOU advertised?

Here are some pictures:

WTF, did you think I did? Scraped it to collect your $$ and then pay it to have it re-done?

That does make sense. You're right!

Packaging was the worst I have ever seen. I'll take some pictures of the "box", or rather piece of cardboard that the bar was in to show you guys.

And yes Chuck, when he told me I have to wait 8-12 weeks, I'm going after PayPal, that's the benefit of it.

I've sold and bought plenty of stuff here and on other sites, percentage of happy deals outweighs few bumps on a road.

"My personal feeling is this man is dishonest and damaged the bar while in his shop between the 12 days that it was delivered and when he contacted me. Who waits 12 days to do that?"

Guy who works 16 hour days, with one day off and has two kids: sometimes waits 12 days to drive to another part of the city to look at his toys.

I'm done.

looks like it was left on the floor and someone ran over it with a vehicle and was dragged....

Whatever did that damage was harder than the Powdercoat and steel. Looks like it went down a concrete driveway not a smooth shop floor. I suppose it could have been damaged during shipping but whatever rubbed against it was course. Not sure how many terminals that thing went through on the trip but if the corners of the bar were in the corners of the box I suppose it could have vibrated during one point of it's journey in a truck enough to wear through the packaging.

Sounds like a bad deal all around for both parties.

Not sure I agree with the Paypal claim. Let the shipper complete the process and handle it that way.

RDO, I removed 1 of your pics because you showed shipping info and number for Steve. No dog in this fight but posting someone's info isn't cool or smart.;)

Well, as they say: a picture is worth 1000 words.

Shipping "box", please pay attention to the upper left corner, only 2 misery pieces of packaging tape used, no tape at all on the other corner. Box is lacking any kind of external damage, as someone suggested that the box was driven over.

Shipping label to prove that it is the "box" Steve used. Yes, I covered our personal information. Merry Christmas everyone!

Damaged sway bar on top of the "box", please note how close the ends come to the edges, not that Steve even attempted to put any padding, but it would be hard to do.

And this is why I keep using quotation marks, the "BOX" has no sides! And very few pieces of tape to compensate for it.

When I received my shipment, the sway bar was sticking out of that piece of cardboard that Steve carelessly and foolishly thought would protect the powdercoated finish against UPS employees during holiday season. So instead of looking for people to blame, and Yes, I know: the best defense is offense, why don't you spend a little time and package things properly.

And I love the impartiality of our administrators:
"Unfortunately, your recent report has been rejected: Post in thread 'DO NOT SELL to LIVE4RDO' - No actual foul language used., and you've done the exact same thing."

Now, I'm done.

My comment about it looking like it was run over was a simple observation , not pointed at anyone.

So, I was going to let it go. But then I get an interesting email from the UPS Store that my claim was denied because I wasn't available for inspection of the damaged sway bar by the UPS rep. I emailed them back that I had no idea this was the process and didn't know when they were coming. And this is their reply:

So you my friend not only a liar, but also a back stabbing scu***g.
