Does Alcohol mix with fuel in the tank and cause "pump failure?"

Hello all. I have been holding back with regard to installing an "Alky Control" system because I wanted to be sure the motor and all its other components were "healthy" and ready for the "extra power" it would be making after the boost was turned up. I was also under the impression, that using Alcohol would eventually make its way back to the "fuel tank" which would in turn cause the "in tank" fuel pump to be subject to the same negative effects as the "Alky pump," requiring more frequent rebuilding or replacement. Then, I was told they, the "Alky System" and the "regular" fuel system were "two separate systems." In other words, the "in tank" fuel pump would never be pumping regular gas mixed with Alcohol. Is this a "true or false" statement? If it is a false statement, which I think it is. Then that would Mean, not only would I have to be mindful of "Alky Pump" failure, but the "in tank" fuel pump as well. Which is it? Make no mistake, I do want to turn the boost up, but not if I have to watch two pumps for potential failure! DOES the "ALKY INJECTION" CAUSE "IN TANK PUMP" FAILURE??? Thanks very much...

NO . alky is sperate and sprays before the throttle body , fuel sprays from the injectors so no way they can mix or contaminate , besides methanol really isnt as bad as its made out to be . gasoline contamination in the alky tank from using a jug that had some gas in it for the alky will hurt the alky pump
fyi pump gas has 10%or more ethanol alcohol in it that absorbs water and thats what takes out the fuel pumps faster

Take some time and look at pictures of the Alky kits in GNs. Look at Julios kit and the parts included to get an idea of what the ALKY kit actually is. This will help you make decisions without the internet.

ALKY kits have their own pump, it's huge compared to a fuel pump and mounted near the ALKY tank.

Not sure who said ALKY makes it's way back into the factory fuel tank but have them explain this in detail, we'd all love to hear this.

if there one thing alky injection ruins its tires . it so bad on tread life there should be a warning

Me, too. I can't think of a way for methanol from Razor's system to somehow make it's way into the fuel system and then into the gas tank. NONE.

If you do get an Alky Control system , get the tester with it to keep tabs on pump pressure . The alky pump will start loosing pressure over time and can get to a low enough pressure that the test button will work but not have enough pressure to supply the proper amount of alky . Some guys monitor alky pump pressure with an in car gauge just like fuel pump pressure .
