I've recently been thinking of getting into paintless dent repair and I'd like some advice from those who do it. I live in a small town that no longer has anyone to do it, and at least three dealerships that need work done on a regular basis. Is it worth it? How much training do I need to attend and what is the average cost to get into it including tools? I know it takes a lot of patience, and lots of practice, which over several years turns into lots of skill, but I think I could handle it. I figured even with a training course and a good set of tools it would take me at least 1 -2 years of constant tinkering with my own beat up cars to get good enough to do it a little in the evenings for profit. I don't know that I would ever do it full time but there seems to be no shortage of work around here. Any advice?
