Looks pretty original to me, it does have the wrong lug nuts though and is missing two door pull strap covers.

" I thought it said 37K in 1992 not 2002?"

You are correct sir, my bad. That's even more suspicious. 2000 miles in 15 yrs

Look at the rusty hood hinges.
You mentioned the hood pad. Wonder why there are gouges in the pad??
Something had to hit or push against it.
I just changed my original pad last month because it was very dirty & lettering was looking rough but it had no gouges in it.
Wonder what the underside of the car looks like?

Gary

Looks like an easy 137k miles. I bet the paint isnt as good as the pics show it. Ive never seen a hood pad like that even on cars over 137k.

My $0.02 Jason

I really don't like picking other peoples cars apart but I note some tell tale signs that is has more miles that suggested.

Front of steering wheel is dirty, Seat mount to floor on drivers side is rusty, bracket in engine compartment on drivers side is rusty, Hood pad is dusty.

These are some things& there are more but i am not getting into it.

I have a feeling the car could have been stored improper or maybe the dusty hood pad was because it came from a dusty area of USA. A hunch is all of the above & more

ummmmm the hood pad could be from MICE eating holes in it !! they love that stuff

Let's see, no trunk emblem, chrome ignition, and it looks like the rear wheel arch moldings are missing. Oh, and those seats have been restitched. There is supposed to be a line in the bottom, that they forgot to pull down to the springs, and it also looks like the driver's door panel has been removed. It may have only 39K, but I still think there are a few things that raise eyebrows. Also, this is supposed to be a proffesional establishment. Can't they take pictures that are not blurry?

yea probally a repaint, who knows what else. i would never buy from one of those places. i get a much better read on a car from a private sale.

Ran a carfax-SALVAGE TITLE. Answeres your questions don't it?

 the majority of the cars advertised are actually 100k+. Nothing new :\. Of course everyone tries to take advantage of that 5 digit odometer. I've picked up a habit that when I'm checking out ads or auctions and the milage is sub 100k I automatically add 100k to whatever is advertised. The cars overall appearance will usually reflect that figure it seems. Just did a quick search on ebay and it turns out that only 6 of the 30 cars on there right now are advertised with 100k+. yeah, right  I hate the market.

Funny part is I e-mailed the guy all these questions this morning and he pulled the auction! I guess he's really got something to hide!  :D
