The real cost. Or should I say my real cost of an LS install. Gator Don't Cut No Corners...
LS3 - 5k Used had 5,000 miles on it
4L80e -1k Used Had 130,000 miles on it
Mounts and brackets $900 price including the G-force cross-member and Dirty dingo Alt re-locator.
PSI wire harness computer and fuel system upgrade $1500 (came with fan relays) I bought the complete kit...
Headers and intake $700
Muscle car pan $200
Gauges and misc Drive shaft and such including gated floor shifter (optional) $500
Radiator and fans $350
Fluids $200
I had to Dyno Tune it because of the long tube headers and the BBK intake (Who KNew) $600 made 403/390 hp at the wheels!!!! Dynajet ( yea I know)
Finally $500 for exhaust.
Hoses for A/C $100
Grand Total of $11,550
Was it worth it. Hell yea...Car runs great. It does not smoke or leak. I cant wait for my first long road trip from Nor-Cal to So Cal. AC blowing cold getting all the thumbs up as I cruise down HWY5 at 80 mph plus in my 85 LS3 TType Life is good..

Someone said pics or it didn't happen. Yalls got trust issues... I need paint and music and time for cruising. Oh and I put posi with 342 gears. and disk brakes at all corners, replaced all the suspension parts and springs. Do i need pics for that too?

Spent another 3k on suspension and brakes. Still spending money on this car. replaced all the suspension parts. car was saggy and loose.
IDIDIT coulum was $1,500 also
Im almost close to 20K on the build now. Little stuff like door windows and lights keep popping up on the 30 year old car. Procharger or Vortech Coming soon. maybe tax time for that.

Congrats!!! IT WILL NEVER END!!!!! Still dropping money in my swap as well!

Wow !!! Lots of $$$$$ you will never live long enuff to get back . Should be quicker than the hot air motor though !! BUT all that work and only 400hp ??? I am feeling pretty good now to see other crazy guys spend the big $$$ . ok back to my ol RX7 $$$$ pit :p

The column itself was $800 including shipment and Hardware. My friend charged me $100 to put it in. Some fab work was required and the steering wheel was $200 and some change. Closer to $1100. So much money things get lost.

Goal for this car is only 500 at the wheels. I have a 9-second 67 pro Street Nova for the other stuff...And 400 at the wheels aint that bad. I am going to supercharge it later once its 100% street-able and safe. I want every creature comfort of a new car in this thing.
