I see your point, but I would be flattered if some used my car to sell their stuff. Just ask the seller a question: "hey will you cut me in on some $$ if my car helps you sell your lights?" :)

sad part is its legal, no lisence plate on the car, or an image of you. You would have to prove its your car. :frown:

I saw that pic and knew it was off of this board. I am watching those because I have a really nice set I am about ready to sell.

What could you do anyway if it was illegal? More time than it is worth.

How can you tell? All I see is a GN with a front mount and clear lamps. There must be 100's of cars that fit that description.

Oh I know what my car looks like! Look at the bumper.

Its no big deal, not looking to raise hell, but its MY PICTURE OF MY CAR.

Why don't you delete this particular photo off of your image hosting site?

Wouldn't this solve the problem of someone using your photos..or am I missing something here?

I borrow pics off the internet all of the time. Once it's on the hard drive and in my files than it's tough luck. You can set it up where nobody can right click it. I'm not sure how that is done.

Its not too hard to use javascript to disallow the right click save as option, but you can technically still get the image if you really wanted it even with that in place.

Windows Vista "Snipping Tool" will allow you to do the same thing except it will also allow you to snip a video frame too.

Put your screen name in all the pics. Just a silhouette. I doubt they will use them then. Its all legal unless they are coyrighted.

I took some pictures of an 1980 M80 Malibu years ago and someone has them on their Car Domain site. I don't care though.
